Im a noob, got a couple of questions (compression)
I am looking into shaving my head for more compression. I know that stock compression is 120psi. What is the highest compression i can get without ruining my engine or going past 93 octane gas? Also do Sprees have reeds or no?
I have a 1986 red Honda Spree
mods: uni prefilter, two 3/8 inch holes drilled in airbox lid, drilled jet out from .026 to .0292.
I also have a 1999 Yamaha Blaster
stock except Graydon Proline Nerfs Holeshot tires and aluminum rims.

stock compression is around 114psi. from shaving the head you wont really get enough compression to do any damage. and yes sprees have reeds.

If you can get to 160 PSI (about 9:1) by shaving the stock head I'd be seriously impressed.
