Hey all, just found this place and it looks a great place for information.
I really want to build a rat rod scooter, i've got a Honda Vision NB50 do you guys chat about them on here? i think they are the same as the aero?
If so how the * do i get it above 25mph!!
I've managed to salvage some parts from an old MG midget car, the speedo and headlights so need to fit them
below is a piccy of her.

yes the aero is the U.S. version of the vision. and yes there a a few members with them here hopefully one can help you out.

what year is the Vision?
check the rollers, belt, clutch, carb, header might be carbonized.

thought so. Its a 1985 vision UK D registration plate it has done 3500 miles one careful lady owner till me

Is there any cheap modifications to improve her a little, i don't have a lot of cash £50 ish About $100. Any good ideas?

i love that paintjob
and i love that headset. the turning signals and all.

If you go with a new handle bar set. I would be happy to buy the plastic and turn signals around the headlight off you.
I'd rather be riding my Aero!

thanks guys! i may well hold you to that sometime.
i'll post some more up to date pictures of the artwork in the next couple of days. I'm off down the scrap yard soon so i will see what else i can find.
I was thinking what about a different rear suspension spring? would it make much difference?

So if i wanted to put a new oversize piston in, can i literally just swap it over or do i need to do anything else?

you will most likely have to have the jug bored out or find a bbk for your scoot.

Interesting. Sounds like a major operation, in consideration the SB50 is fixed pulley, no variator.bigluelok wrote:a zoomer/ruckus variator swap there are a few big bore kits available.
Tazland 44mm kit will help, but you can't expect it to compare to an Elite SA or SR.
