I picked up an 88 Elite scoot, i never saw a gas gauge on the rear in back of the seat, is this an 88 only option?
I have a 92 Sr elite, the motor looks a bit different from the 88 yet are Af05's....is the 92 variated and whats the sr difference from the normal 92 models...thx!

I have an 88 but I'm not sure what you are asking about.

That '88 is an Elite E (sb50). The fuel gage is standard on that model. That model was run from '88-90. It is closer to a spree than that SR that you have. The engine is a non-variated af05.
The SR is the un-restricted model in the sa50 line of scooters. The '92 is a variated af05 engine.

Thanks man, I never saw a scooter with a gas gauge on the back end. It is considerably smaller than my SR.
