I really want to see what disc brake kits people are putting together on their Spree, Elite, Aero, Gyro or any other of the smaller Honda scoots..

Please include what triple you used, rotor size, caliper, etc.

Elite e, spree and sa50 for disk break , was done in Hawaii.

Most peder don't use aluminum tee., not ruckus, metro tee.

Tee stem made of steel , can be welded.
Common moped in Hawaii is sym dd50.

I do recommend use a japan live zx stem, or g stem .

Yamaha jog 92-01 is no problem just slide in and bolt on with complete jog japan head set w front disk.

First disk brake ride better and stable smooth ride...

koso overrange disk are also good...

rpm also....i'll try to upload some pics of it..

but all G-DASH have big disk on them?

the watercooled is converted..

the cylinder block is fabricated to be a water cooled...

this is not an after market watercooled block...

water cooled kits are not hard to do man..
once you get the bore for it the cooling system in within the head /bore, not the block

For those of us that live on the mainland, what's a g stem?

Also are you guys cutting and rewelding the stem to run your disc brakes, or is there one that fits without cutting/rewelding?

I have a spare met triple that I was thinking of trying to use on my Spree.

Top is G-dash stem
Bottom is Super/Live Dio Stem

Guys prefer the G-stem for its lower shock mount than the latter giving more clearance, but expensive and rare. The Super/Live Dio stem is cheaper and more abundant. As far as using your Metro triple, may not be wide enough to accomodate the Disked wheel hub, not too sure though. Or you can always opt for a dd50 stem, cheaper and very much available in HI. check FH forums, but then wheels option maybe limited due to the 12mm axle compared to the 10mm axle on Japan frontends which has more choices for wheels.

You can not, the dd50 Speedo drive tab is removable and design is different and the Japan are built into the hubs. You maybe able to install the wheels but lose speedo drive unless you run Japan legs on dd50stem.

Just to be clear, you are saying that the speedo hub is the only restriction to doing this? So Japan wheels with dd50 brake and forks setup combined with a GPS would work?

Kinda, lets put it this way Run dd50 Stem on Japan legs, need to use Japan Brake components, cause dd50 brake caliper and adapter to legs are way different and will not mount to Japan legs. If you wanna do it right, run Live or g stem with Japan legs and 10mm wheels aplenty. Run dd50 stem with all dd50 front components 12mm wheels which sadly not much.
