brand of oil

Post by odinxxix »

no this wont turn into an oil debate. i know to use quality 2 stroke injection oil. but more of a question. has anyone used the green valveoline 2 stroke oil. the bottle says for all types of pre-mix and oil injected oil engines. its 4.99 a qt vs the gn-2 that i have been buying 7.99 a qt. and now that my local motorsports shop has closed down the only place for me to get 2 stroke oil is the internet or the valveoline at my local autozone. thoughts, results?

I had a bottle of it, but it got wasted, mine looked blue'ish green. Now I run Lucas 2 Cycle, it's green. I read up on the valvoline when I bought it, didn't see any bad reviews really.

I would use Valvoline to pour on the ground so some poor slop could slip and fall.

I wouldn't run Mobil either. The chart just shows that a single manufacture has many 2 stroke oils for different situations.
