glad I drive an old 2 stroke Honda ;-)

Post by patthesoundguy »

My friend that has an 85 aero 80 like mine got made fun of by the vespa owners of the scooter club she belongs to, then here a few months back she gets a 200cc vespa. She kept her aero 80 and still drives it to work because she says its better for commuting. Then last week the carb and or the poluition control junk gets screwed up for no apparent reason and its only a few years old so its peeing fuel out like mad and won't run. And the aero 80 is still truckin' . I have the service manual for the vespa and man I'm glad I drive 2 strokes B-)

Scooter ppl givin' grief to other scooter riders, lol. Sounds like some harley guys I know. Ride what you like, this isn't high school for most of us:)

GL with the repair, IIRC the evap was causing vapor lock on some of the newer scoots when filled up too much. Not sure about the peeing, has to be in the petcock, lines or carb. Unless of course, there is an actual hole in the tank:)

+1 for air cooled two strokes, nice and simple.
