Looking for input on the Honda SuperCub 50 (C50M) MY 1976
Hi all,
Still riding my Honda Vision. Going great and already 3500 kms since last year.
Fell across this ad on our local french Craigs List : http://www.leboncoin.fr/motos/449690768.htm?ca=21_s
We call it Super Cub or C50 here. It is a C50M model because it has an electric start + kick start.
2nd hand owner since 2009 and close to new (non restored, original everything, even the tires!) with only 4200 kilometers on the clock.
I did a little research on the Internet and here and can't find a forum like this one dedicated to this Honda C50. I think they call them Passport in the US?
It is a 49cc, 3 speed, automatic clutch, OHC model (1976).
So far I have found some ressources for spares and parts BUT no discussion board/forum.
If you happen to have some links, I would really appreciate.
Looking to offer 1000Ôé¼ or less for it because it has been on sale since last summer and didn't sell. The guy isn't a great seller too. I can say that after having gone to his place to see the Honda...lucky me.

How did you copy the pics? I tried, but it wouldn't work.
Looks neat doesn't it?

I think if you put them the other way the blinkers will get in the way.
They have a Honda logo on them and are an optionnal equipement chosen by first owner.
Still haven't found a Passport dedicated forum.

Re: Looking for input on the Honda SuperCub 50 (C50M) MY 197
I'll have to try this. Before, I used to simply copy/paste in my hard disk with the right button of the toplap.
But they have blocked this due to culprits copying pictures and posting false ads. Now I know that crooked people can still steal pictures !
I've found something close to a C50 forum :

Gonna read this quick!

The guy is ok to let it go for 1200Ôé¼...which is still a nice amount of money.
In flesh it looks as clean as it is on the pictures which is surprising for the age.
Still thinking about it...

I have a little problem if you could help me out.
When I'm finished with sticking the copied picture in my "Paint", and taking everything else that I don't want to keep off, I'm left with the picture of the bike. Ok.
Then I close the "Paint" thing and have a look at the picture.
It looks like a picture I have cut out and sticked on a sheet of A4 paper.
It doesn't look like a picture I could have taken with my camera without any white paper underneath it.
How do you get the big pics like the ones above?
Moreover, the pictures posted above are only 104 and 114 Ko and still nicely sized.
Mine is smaller and is 2,92Mo!
