Knobby tires for spree
Where can I find some and what sizes fit the spree
Re: Knobby tires for spree
You can find knobby tires in size 2.50 X 10, or 2.75 X 10..anywhere they sell dirt bike parts.
Having no clue where you are, if you choose online parts, I would recommend Motorcycle Superstore for cheap $$.

I live in metro atlanta ga. Thanks for the info. I plan on dirt roads and trails at a lake cabin area for my spree. I doubt it will ever see pavement. Thanks again.

Re: Knobby tires for spree
Greetings:
Dirt paths and roads are probably fine for the Spree, although very short suspension travel may make for an uncomfortable ride and jittery handling. Anything more than small bumps runs the risk of fracturing the crankcase/belt cavity. Forum member(s) posted this some years ago. No motocross whoops either...

Re: Knobby tires for spree
I run those same tires on my spree they work perfect even on pavement. Ive run knobbies on my spree for years. They are essential if you want to run on dirt roads and on grass all the time. Ive run some pretty rough logging roads with my spree on shale and had no trouble , just have to be smart about it and remember it's not a dirt bike and you'll be fine

Re: Knobby tires for spree
I used some Michelin's for a scoot I put together a couple years ago. Initially there was slight rubbing on the sides of the tires from the knobbies. The knobbies would hit the forks and the rear mud guard. Not a big rub at all. I bought the Michelin's because I liked the style the best.
The tires are Michelin Starcross Ms2's - 2.50x10
