That is true about paper work but he claims he has most of it done... What forms and Papers do you need honestly? I'm thinking of possibly passing but not sure completely yet....

I'm curious to know as one. Nobody I've asked has known exactly what to do...
Re: Is this a good deal? 1985 Honda spree
actually if anyone is curious..... he actually got it registered with sticker and plates for 106 dollars and says there was only 3 forms and once you know the forms its not that bad..... he moved the price to 600... should i do it?

Greetings:
So now it's a 20-year-old Spree that needs a key and switches, needing tires and a saddle cover and with faded plastics. Pretty steep at $600, but at least it's legal to ride. I guess if that's what you really want...

Re: Is this a good deal? 1985 Honda spree
No...you made a good decision to pass, so stick with that and find an Elite or Aero....
but if you really think you will be happy with 30mph...get a Spree...
the most I have EVER given for one is $250, and it was sweet, low mile, in very good nic...
Merry Christmas and Happy Scootering...

Re: Is this a good deal? 1985 Honda spree
Paid 600 for my elite it took a long search but I'm glad I waited and got something I can play with and break a fix again and break a fix again. Yes I don't need to go fast on a scooter but it sure is fun.

Probably still a bit expensive at 950, but better than 600 for ANY Spree.
$600 for this Aero would be very realistic as I sold one just like it for $595 one year ago...

Re: Is this a good deal? 1985 Honda spree
Greetings:
The Aero is a rare find, but it's not an '88. They stopped selling in the US in 1987. That said, see the black panel between the rear signals? That part is so seldom found intact that it alone is worth the $950. You should know going in that the Aero is more limited in modification potential than the later Elites. Nevertheless, with a variator and perhaps a pipe, 45 MPH with good acceleration for surface street use is a realistic possibility.

$600-$700 would be a great deal for that aero very clean. I love my aero to death!
