buying a scooter and need help

Hi everyone I'm new to the forum I'm looking at buying a 1998 honda elite and was wondering if this scooter is a good buy? Also if you had an idea of what it's top speed would be. Here is a link of the photos and info

Like G9 said, stock will do what the speedo states, but with some parts and you'll be doing 65! $700 is a fare price if this was in Canada, but I'm not sure about down in the USA.

Does it have a title? Inspect motor? How does it run? Overall just look it over well. If it looks well taken care of great. You'll know if it's been hammered.And yes you will be talking with G9 quite a bit. What's the price? If that popped up here I wouldn't hesitate. Running titled clean low miles scooter is just bonus. Granted we get maybe one decent elite a year pop up here. Good luck.

I just got home it was a late buy but the scooter is in mint condition they have a clean title and it looked like it came out of the showroom! I'll have to put some better pics on tomorrow or the next day. I paid $650 for it and they had a honda cover that fits perfect and the original manual the scooter has about 2200 miles

Your Elite is pristine man! I bought mine for 850 and did not hesitate i picked it up fast. Mine had about 6,000 miles on it when i got it.. You are one lucky dog. Congratulations on the new purchase!
