90/90 tire vs. 3.00-10 tire. Stock elite wheels

Questions on how many people have switched their stock elites to a 90/90, I know they are about a half inch wider. Curious if the scooter will handle slightly better with the wider tire? Will the 90/90 clear the stock shock, and the center stand fine? Thanks!

I have a 90/90 on a met rim. Doubt I'll ever run an elite rim again.

Mine will be on a stock elite rims, I'm not going to spend the money on met rims. Are the 90/90's too wide for a elite rim or should I just stick with the 3.00/10?

3.00 tire are better than 90/90-10. 90/90-10 just add more weight on rear tire spinning and mpg slight go down.

this gets my vote. went up to a 3.5-10 S1 in the rear for more top end speed, but you can notice the loss on bottom due to more rotational mass. 3.00-10 is great, but just better quality than oem is my primo pick
