Speedo problems.

Post by 85Aero80Guy »

Yesterday my speedometer just stopped working. The odometer continues to log miles even though I have no indication of speed.
There a screw where the cable meets the front wheel. The cable appears to be connected correctly.

Any ideas?

Its an 85 Aero 80.

Thanks

Your speedometer broke...it's that simple.
The head will need replaced... :urban:

Pull dash clean end tip throughly, knock down sharp tips, re oil, pull tire end repeat then check back the speedo cable at the dash can become. Loose over time.

If it's still logging miles it might actually be the speedo. I suggest using a GPS app on your phone.
