Best 2T Oil??
Been asking around about the best 2t oil I should use for premix in my Elite. Using Klotz benol castor oil right now. Looking to transition to a good high end synthetic 2t oil. Not as high end as red line but just seeing what all you guys recommend and what y'all use, thanks
Re: Best 2T Oil??
I use Klotz full synth with all bbk's and this question has been asked many times so you can use the search feature to find past and more recent opinions to compare with. I believe the real answer is whatever suits your particular purpose/setup the best.

Re: Best 2T Oil??
I use Maxima Pro but as Bones suggested...its a matter of opinion. Some people swear by Brand X or Brand Y but one things for sure, the oils today are far superior to what was available when these scooters were made and have been running on for many years. So whichever you choose, it will be a vast improvement to what the bike has ever seen its entire life.
Just be aware that some synthetic 2T oils are not recommended for oil injection systems (if youre using the pump). For example: Royal Purple claims its 2T oil is pre-mix only. Others may as well.
Its also been discussed that using high-end synthetic for a freshly built motor will prolong the break-in process due to its low friction capabilities. Some suggest running a few tanks of quality conventional oil to seat the rings and then switch to synthetic of choice. Again, this is an opinion that has been argued about by the masses and depends on who you ask. Some swear by it while others think its bologna.

I need to find some new haters...the ones I have are starting to like me.

Yeah, but he asked for the "Best" High-end oil he can use. And I stand by Castor927, have gotten some wicked performance along with it.benji wrote:Expense maybe? Castor ain't cheap
Plus if he's switching from castor. Klotz benol castor oil and Castor927 are something TOTALLY different.
OP, click the link I posted in previous thread and see the difference between the two, then conclude which is better

Yeah klotz is good stuff, I'm thinking about using red line but it's darn expensive
