Noiseguy and moderators, these spammers are beginning to annoy me. I would blast their screen with a shotgun if I could. I don't need their * and if I did, I know how to get it.
Is there any way we can deal with them?

Re: Can Spammers be deleted?
So I have two thoughts on how to deal with spammer accounts.
One is to manually validate accounts. This used to work really well, but spammers have gotten better at looking legit. And it really slows down people that want to join the board.
Other is to allow everyone to join, and then cull accounts afterwards. The new tools on this board allow this to be done more easily than in the past, and it's what we're doing now. If users keep flagging the posts, we can keep the board relatively clean.

Re: Can Spammers be deleted?
my friend that runs my airsoft forum has a program that you can crash their computer when you obtain their IP address and they'll never be able to start it again, it burns up the bridges on the mother board.
Possibility?! lol

I don't think we need to stoop to their level, no matter how frustrating it gets. I guess what "I" need to do is learn how to flag (which I haven't done yet) so it is brought to the attention of mods and noiseguy so they can deal with it.toboggan wrote:my friend that runs my airsoft forum has a program that you can crash their computer when you obtain their IP address and they'll never be able to start it again, it burns up the bridges on the mother board.
