i followed up on a lead about a 20$ areo 80 i found on the forum (thanx again, wikked_spree57). upon calling the seller, i found out that the origional engine was no longer with the scooter, but instead a 50cc engine had been swapped onto it. the seller had not been able to identify what the engine was, and was fed up with the project. figuring i could find SOMETHING worth 20 bucks and an hour drive, i departed to pick up the areo/ mystery engine.

my jaw dropped as i spotted the signature two piece belt cover. upon closer inspection, i saw the af16e identification on the rear of the case.

best $20 i've ever spent
the spree will FLY next summer.
