Here's what i am thinking. Extend the footrest support out past the plastic and attach a peg that can pivot up and almost out of sight or be down and usable.

Looks like just a handle bar of of something else. Looks like it works too.

yup it does look like that. theyre actually made for the zuma 125, though. pretty nifty.
