have you tried running mixed weights? 7 and 9 grams staggered weighs the same as all 8 grams.
They average the same but they don't wear the same. I say use it as a tuning method but buy 8s if you want 8s. Don't run it like that for the long haul.

i have no problems with wear issues with koso weights when staggered. as a matter of fact the only koso weights i ran flat was 10s and it was too heavy anyways. other than that the rest is the bomb! :)
btw i heard daytonas are best but never had a chance to experiment with, i stopped with kosos, thats how satisfying they are.

my input was because what most tuning kits have .. the rollers from 3 4 5 11 12 13 14 gram rollers are not use my most of the people no this form so a kit from 6 to 10 or so wood be up are ally as well as a set of 6 rollers.. im trying to help us and keep his inventory down as well . parts seating on his shelf not selling hurts ... me i just got set of 8s all the pack down blow all come to a 0.5 you cant make a set of 8 with out have some odd 9 and 7 thing ..

See if you could find those colored aftermarket(koso) adjustable throttle cables and quick throttles?

Greetings:

What America needs is a good 5-cent cigar, or a decent ~$150. Elite pipe!

If you get a chance, see if you can find a pipe that fits the SA/16 in an Elite frame that is quieter than PhonGeer's offerings, doesn't self-destruct after a year, performs well, and doesn't require selling some Precious Bodily Organ to afford. I checked out the Simioni at Treatland, but they want $225 + Shipping, - Yikes!! - and it's an unknown quantity despite having a good rep in the Moped world. I dunno, it just looks loud, too. And what's up with that funky spring-bound header connection?

The spring bound header is one indication of a well engineered pipe.

Greetings:

How'd ya figure? All the cool Japanese exhausts have a gradual taper with as many as 13 conic sections.
This one has a juncttion - flow-disturbing - right where the pressure wave rounds the bend.
I'd feel better if someone tried it out and wrote it up.

I have yet to see a cheap pipe with that feature and all of my high dollar pipes have it. I am not saying it is necessary but a good rule of thumb. I plan to buy one at some point this spring.

When I get pics of the dio mufflers I will post. Then we should take a vote for fun.

I will check on some of the other parts.

Isn't that pipe gonna drag the road in hard right hand turns?
Looks like to sticks out & down pretty far on the right side of the bike

I use to sell that same pipe back in the day. It works nice but is very brittle. Also it hits the rear right blinker on the elite sr
