I use the same kind of premix bottle. If I'm going to go longer distances (depending on the distance between gas stations) I'll carry a one or two gallon gas can and some (quart) premix. I put in premix first then the gas in one or two gallon increments. My daily driver I have a very tiny gas tank (SB50), so when it's close to empty I just put in premix and then add the gas. I usually will have an error margin of up to 0.03 to 0.05 gallon. My engine hasn't blown yet with this error margin. On this I premix for 0.75 gal.

I have a set of three 8oz bottle filled with oil that I keep in my backpack and a one gallon can on the back of my scoot. Definitely need it when I do the 4 hour trek to NH to see my GF every weekend.

Oh what you say is true, it is call essential tremors and it is from exposure to Agent Orange, but I had spills as a youngster too, usually from inattention, but spills none the less.

I have a 10L fuel can premixed at home that I top the bike up with but I also carry a pre-mixed 5L can on my luggage rack for emergency sitations!
How ever if I do need to premix on the road I always have a 1L bottle of oil in the under seat storage and use a LARGE syringe with measurements on it to get the correct ratio.

I don't pre-mix but I saw a post once where the member used the existing oil tank to carry his oil. Rigged up an on-off valve in the hose and just carried an empty measuring bottle. Not sure where he ran the hose for access, but seems like this would be a good back-up method for emergencies if nothing else.

I'm picturing a valve like this one (red cap to prevent leakage). Obviously the trick would be to find an easily accessible place to mount and run the oil hose to it.
