Should I buy a 1996 Elite for $600?

My brother has a 01 zuma, he loves it, and I hate to say it but it's ten times the scooter my honda is. I love my 86 aero50 but that zuma fires up everytime idles great has crazy amounts of aftermarket support and we even accidentally found a minerelli 70cc long case motor in a cheap Chinese quad that we could use as a long block. My next bike will be a zuma or ruck or somethimg a hair newer just for ease of commute.

It's true about the wedgie/slide forward seat tho.
