In the US version, all of the petcocks are vacuum operated. It appears that yours is manual, which is MUCH better, as the valve that operates when vacuum is applied is that source of alot of fuel delivery problems. If I could get a manual petcock on my bikes, I would do it in a heartbeat.

Exactly. Check to see if you can buy those and then import them to the US with a 300% markup and make a ton of money!

Heeeey i just got a nifty fifty aswell, i painted it, but i cant find the vin any where, not even all them places advised on this post =(

All our nifty fiftys here have the round headlight and manualfuel valve which only has on or off no reserve .
