haha i was just about to say how filthily cheap they had those polini cylinder kits for! i have the 16/32 gears, and when i rotate my back wheel, the clutch bell goes about 8 times for every 1 wheel rotation, so i think its a little over 8:1...

So they're still selling gears for the mid-80's Aeros and Elites? How much are they?

So is the motor strong enough that like the dio you can do gears and a pulley w/o a big bore? Or would takeoff just be nonexistant?

Greetings:

This is where I found some gears:

Evidently a Peugeot shares some running gear with the Aero, AKA Vision 50 in Europe.

I had less success finding an US distributor website from which to order. Roselle? Can you post or PM me an URL?

yeah, i probably would not do the gears unless the motor is also modified...the stock motor feels good with the stock gears, even with cylinder kit and porting and many other mods, the gears take away some launch. high stall clutch/clutch springs help alot.

just tell them its a personal order, usually they only deal with dealers, but they will sell to the public

Greetings:

Thanks. I called the 888 #. The website is Malossi USA. I really appreciate all the guidance. I'll get to tear into the Aero later this week or next.
