Brad... When it comes to finding
NOS parts for the NS, it's literally a "needle in the haystack" search. -since Honda only made the NS one year, it seems like everything got discontinued around 2001.
Plastics are non-existent, as well as the tank...
BUT if you find one in good shape... You're set!

Very true, veedubh20...
After seeing pictures of all the cycle shops in japan, I have been dying to go for years... But if I went, I'd never come back!

Hey Sanjuro,
Did your new NS50 arrive home to you yet? Let us know when it does, and please post up some "up close and personal" pictures!
Later, jon.

Just checked the tracking info and it says it is inbound for cross dock terminal, whatever that means. The delivery window is from sept 19-30.

Jon, did you use an aftermarket relay for your LED turn signals? I got the keys and paperwork along with the original turn signals in a box today. Turn signal stalks were shot so they are headed to the garbage.
Still waiting on the shipper to deliver the bike.

Hey Sanjuro,
Funny you should ask...
I actually have not wired my turnsignals as of yet; they are mounted, but not wired. I ordered and received the aluminum-finned resistors, and still need to order the special flasher relay for LED's. -I know what you mean about the stock turnsignals... I bet your rubber "stalks" are rotted and cracked, right? On the "new" NS my buddy bought that I restored the original owner had the turnsignals stored in his garage (but stored the bike outside for 10+ years - haha!) and his turnsignals were like new... But as soon as I mounted them they fell apart.
-I had not wired my LED turnsignals yet because I still can't get over the fact that although they look good, they're Chinese cheapys.
I'm thinking I'm going to find a new set of "real" oem Honda turnsignals off of a different Honda that are sportier. I don't mind that they will be regular-bulb type; that just means simple, clean wiring- just like stock. If you are interested in the turnsignals and resistor set I have, let me know. I'm thinking you will come up with something a bit better as well, though.
If you run across some OEM (Honda-Yamaha-Suzuki) nice looking "winkers," let me know!
-j
Hope this helps, jon

Daytona, CF Posh, and a few others make some nice ones found in the ruckus section on webike. Those would be nice, but still need a relay since the bulbs are different.

Great idea, dude... I'm going to try to find a set of Daytona/Takegawa/kitaco/CF Posh signals that have a somewhat factory look... Since I am running a Daytina "Battery Lesser" instead of a battery, I was thinking I may just buy a really good quality battery just for running a single HID light at night. It would be an easy clean wiring job, too.
Talk soons, jon.
