my 2000 S
i have a problem with slamming things. its the lowest it could go up front without rubbing lol
waiting for my friend to get back from vaca so he could extend my motor mount 7" and help slam the rear.
not running right now
mods:
was bone stock with a 18mm mikuni and malossi chamber pipe, rare now. had mean low end, real quick.
currently, CIH race pipe(polini copy chamber pipe), a 28oko, and jap head/tail lights.
picking up a 86cc bore soon. plan on keepnig it stock stroke.
if not, just stretch this and build something else.
imma get a better pic tmrw.

swap mirrors. imo the rectangles would look better on the aero and circles on the spree(just my opinion though)

Thanks. I really appreciate that. They do look super clean, but when I bought them they were really rough. I could see the diamond inside though. Just a lot of cleaning (& carb love). These were both Craigslist barn finds. Neither has been tagged since '87.sanjuro wrote:Oh man! How'd you score those two MINT examples?

Re: ****Official Picture Post****
I might do that or just get another set of the stock ones - and turn signals. I put those mirrors & signals on because they were cheap, on the store shelf and solved the problem. Wife likes the stockers better.fightingplankton wrote:swap mirrors. imo the rectangles would look better on the aero and circles on the spree(just my opinion though)

Re: ****Official Picture Post****
i actually almost bought one the other day. there was a running one that needed work on the plastics for 400 on KC craigslist. if it werent for the fact that my fiance would have ceased to be my fiance if i brought it home, it would be in my garage right now.Wheelman-111 wrote:Greetings:

i nearly bought one too nearby, with a 70cc kit and clip-on bars... shoulda done it. but i chose something with a little (lot) more off-road capability.
Re: ****Official Picture Post****
Funny I remember buying an MB5 brand new from Lakewood Honda for $398 if I recall in late '82. I was so into that bike. I think I may have clocked 60K miles on it. I sold it.
Saw a clean one recently for $1K and couldn't bring myself to it. Instead I bought a K100RS LE 10 years newer for the same price.
