My wife has her own 2001 SR as well, Jeff-

She did the full frame-up rebuild herself (with only a little help from me with the cylinder install after installing new rings)

You can see her build here:

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=11653&p=95400&hilit ... +SR#p95400

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=10758&hilit=my+wife ... lite+50+sr

As soon as we get some extra money, we are going to get a 72cc Polini Contesta kit as well as a few other bolt-on's.

Later, jon

Took my son for a short ride today. He absolutely loves scooters. He is almost two and calls everything with 2 wheels a "Scooty".

Why would they put it on that side tho, that's your throttle hand. If it was on the other side it seems like it would be easier access. :blah:

Maybe jiangwayne's knockoff version of it :P It cracked by the mounting flange near the muffler (I didn't use their extra thick exhaust gasket). Still works (probably not as well) but it is even more loud now.

I still do 55+ on the stock pipe, and I actually like the quietness when I cruise town. The carb is still loud as * though, been considering a gatorade bottle airbox :P
