You just wrote my favorite words: "tact and kindness." Thanks for your great work.

Guys,

Please take 2 minutes to fill in your location. Go here:

http://www.hondaspree.net/phpBB3/ucp.php?i=164

and fill in where you live (like I've done.) There are a lot of you out there that can help each other out, but you need to know where each other live to do that.

I'd like to see more descriptive topic titles to make searching easier. Like, instead of "Help!!" use "Carb cleaning question" or whatever.

Greetings:

Proposal

Now many of us fancy ourselves as big, tough, 50-cc scooter-riding computer-users with foul mouths.
Recent events have called my attention to some language that some might find inappropriate on the forum. I've been known to utter an occasional expletive myself, so ain't no freakin' goody two-shoes, but a few of us are leading our kids to mis-spend their youth on trivial pursuits such as the topic of this Forum: Scooters.

Consequently the language should reflect a certain, uh... reasonable standard so's to keep the little rascals from spending as much time in the Principal's office as I did.

Therefore, The F-Word has no place here. I'm thinking "Dang", "Flippin", "Freakin'" or some close-enough term to convey the sense without corrupting the impressionable tykes can be just as effective, and more entertaining.

For sure we don't call anyone a "Retard". It is hurtful to people with mental challenges as well as those who love them. I'm personally not fond of "h*****", even though folks on the Islands have tried to explain it's not perjorative. That's like calling someone a *, *, *, Wog, *, etc., then saying "I didn't mean it in a mean way...". So let's not.

One warning per user/IP address. What says the Owner?
