Hey there...a friend of mine bought a Derbi Atlantis.
Is this a Chinese knock off. I only found a little bit online about them...they're based in Spain. Can't find any reviews or anything.

Re: DERBI SCOOTS?
Greetings:
They have a website:
http://www.derbi.com/int/index.php?opti ... Itemid=145
Looks like small-bore transportation for western Europe. Sure to be a better quality product than most of the Chinese scooters. Pricier, too. I wasn't aware they had set up US dealerships.
And Yee-ouch! A not-so-glowing review by a disenchanted Brit writer:

Don't tell your friend...![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)

Most of my money is spent on scooterparts. The rest is just wasted.

Re: DERBI SCOOTS?
I don't know about the Atlantis, but the GPR50 is a fun little bike. kind of like the RS50. it is good quality, way better than any chinese product I have ever ridden. Derbi is part of the piaggio group and that speaks for itself.
I can't give that first review any credit because there is no basis, sounds more like he just wanted to b****.Wheelman-111 wrote:And Yee-ouch! A not-so-glowing review by a disenchanted Brit writer:
