FYI on cheap brake cables.

Post by novs86 »

I bought a new rear brake cable on E-bay for $10.50 including shipping. It was stiff and the rubber seals at both ends will not stay seated. I re-installed my old OEM rusted up cable and it's better than this cable. I gave it a chance but will stick with OEM cables in the future. Like the old saying goes " you get what you pay for".
I'd rather be riding my Aero!

OFF TOPIC, but I really like that moped in your avatar.
It always catches my eye when you post in other threads.

I found a new OEM set for a few dollars more on Ebay. Wow what a difference!
Stick to OEM if you can find them!
