Project Tempest UNVEILED Act1 (Drag Spree build)
Posted: Sun Oct 04, 2009 8:08 pm
As promised, today I have completed the first part of a major custom project named Tempest. This is Act 1, the first part of her journey
Goal time was reached and built in 2months span.
Fully assembled over-night from frame on up, last night and this morning. Yup that means custom everything was figured out in this short time span.
It wasn't easy by a long shot, but totally worth the challenge. And I have a few dedications:
Thank God for giving me the strength to persevere, guiding me and always looking over
Thanks to Projectcar Magazine for giving me the inspiration to do a full on custom build!
Thanks to Robbie at RLM for the custom weld job, came out amazing!
Thanks to Don's Autobody for the paint job, in and out in one day, great work
Thanks to my parents for dealing with a garage shop full of scooters
Thanks to everyone at the Motorcycle Shop for their help and expertise
Thanks to Hawaii friends for advice on drag racing, useful info that will come in handy
Thanks to those who I bought parts from and those who bought my spree spares
Lastly, thanks to all the haters who think they know all, and yet know nothing. This project really goes out to yall
