i got this kit for my car. very pleased. they have a pretty wide bulb selection.

There's NO point to go past 6,000K on the bulb output.

After that, the bulbs light output turns much more blue and the lighting actually gets darker....

5,500K is the "sweet spot"

too true im running 5,000k and there perfect. a little blue when warming up but very bright and white after, i didnt want to add any uneeded attention from the lawman.

Crap, I just ordered my first ever HID for my can at 12K does this mean I might have legality issues? I know nothing about them just that my * is blind and need more light.

the higher the rating the more blue they look and are less bright also run hotter. any vehicle in texas thats not manufactured with hids is illegal.

Wow! 12k huh.....

Those will be purpleish in color and blind on coming traffic :surprise:

I know it's dumb question.... which bike are you going to install HID?

I installed HID on my 06 yamaha vino 125 and couldn't work very well... it's strange...

I intalled HID on 6 different bikes so far and HID projectors in four bikes and 09 dodge challenger...

I'm tempted to put one on my elite but dunno if it would work
