just made phone call to www.cycleimportshawaii.com and will have the gear ratio"s for the aero, didn't ask for a price but if you want it its yours!

just called this shop again and there is a conflict between the 2 brothers that own the shop, if you swap out 4 gears from an sa50 along with the shaft it will work otherwise i was right , they have stopped making those gears for a while.

So I can't get different gears unless I get them from a different scooter? I have the stock gears in my aero, and with the 70cc and speed variator, it accels like crazy, but I am willing to sacrifice some of that for some more top end. Is there any way to get different ratios?

Yep, those gears are gold, the shop that does my machine work has the last set, they want $100

What ratio are they? and how much different will they perform? I may be interested in them If it is near impossible to find any anymore. Please let me know.

they are malossi 8 to 1 ratio, my top speed was 65 mph with a 65cc bore kit & 18mm mikuni carb.
