for effort. I like the U joint idea. I've always wanted a trailer for my bike.

My complaints: Lack of suspension probably means most things will get bounced out. I have this problem on a larger trailer.
The attachment to the milk crate and the angle of metal above it are suspect, but I reckon this is very light duty. For my uses, I'd either rip the mount right out of the plastic crate, or break that 90 on the bar.

Yes very light duty. It is for milk juice and bread from down the block.
It was not intended to haul any thing over 20lbs or so.
You are right about suspension....... it is not for a 24 pack of beer....too bumpy for that.
My kids would want to ride on it if it were built any better though.

I put a box of 40z in a crate of the same size, just put a towel in between the bottles!
Made it 50miles, beer was still cold and bottles were undamaged!
Horray for gas mileage and still the ability to transport beer!

I'd like to comment on my bicycle trailer that I made from conduit and two bicycle forks. I haven't made a bracket with a vertical bolt to work on my scooter but my wife wants me to. For a coupling, I used a 3/8th Heim type of joint that fits over a vertical bolt, but would recommend a half inch for a scooter
