Brakes? What Brakes?
Greetings:
My Met wheel just bolted on. Brake cable nut adjusted about the same. If you can't get yours to bite, pop off the wheel and measure the ID of the brake hub. There should be a "95mm" etched on there somewhere, but there is a service limit for a worn hub. Clean the shoe contact surfaces and the inside of the drum thoroughly with brake cleaner before you reinstall.

I don't recall seeing the width difference if any. In any case, it's OK as long as the bands aren't narrower, which obviously they are not. I'm about to receive both a front and rear Met rim, so I'll check.

My bad, I mean a difference between the af05 rim and the af16 rim. You are running the met rim on FIV right?Wheelman-111 wrote:Greetings:

The Met rim first ran on F2 - an AF05 - methinks. Pretty sure the brake width is the same. Positive the diameter is the same.

Re: Met. rear wheel brake?
I must be thinking of some other wheel then. Yes, I think the diameter is the main thing which would mean that the met drum is wore more. Can you get an ID measurement of each rim Bigluelok?Wheelman-111 wrote:Greetings:

I just threw a rear met rim onto a dio motor today, fits perfect.
