It is open to all. Only the 50's will be counted for the record. I know there is a local bergman going up.

I was just coming on here to see if anyone was going. I will be there with 2 Elites, an orange one and a yellow one. There will also be a girl with me on a pink scooter.

Should be a good time. I hope more people from here are going.

A message I received from Randy Knudson owner of Scooter Therapy:

April 4 at 9:49pm
About two weeks away. Unfortunately the location had to be changed, it was getting a bit complicated to have it sanctioned by the U-W. We will meet at Scooter Therapy, 12 N. Few Street, and make a loop down East Johnson to First, then back on East Washington. We have numbered waterproof signs to pin on your back for the filming. Please check out the event, and be there to help us break the world record. Any Questions? call 1 800 411 1543

Ya, I figure I will have to make a mount for my gps to take with me. (and the E will be staying home due to those hills)

Where in Iowa are you at? Are you going by yourself or bringing a friend?

Are there a lot of hills? It dont matter to me, I'm sure there will be a lot of scooters slower than your E. Think of the people that will show up with Honda Expresses!

Just head West on 80 and you will go right by me  (but be sure you put in those highway gears). More than one. It will be the SUV pulling a trailer...

Not extreme, but it is Wisconsin. It reminds me of the Iowa City campus a little... long low grade hill on one side and a steeper hill on the other side of tha capital. I just don't want to come to a checkpoint at the bottom of a hill and then ask my E to pull me up it from a stand still (I would have to have a 50cc in it for this ride). I am sure there will at least be sprees there if not expresses.

I am already in it. My bicycle streamliner went 66 mph ridden by a woman. Alas no picture.

That's a super achievement :2thumbs: There's got to be a bazillion details to get optimized anywhere close to a record, to execute the record is golden. Much respect to you and your team.
