Newer headlight Shroud on older spree

My friends spree is in need of a new headlight shroud, and I am wondering if the shroud and speedo from an updated 87 will fit, there is one on ebay. He needs one bad, and this is a good buy if it will fit.

it will bolt up. wiring is a little different. but can be wired.

whats different about the wiring? I am not to skilled in that area, how hard is it

wiring is basically the same, connectors are different. colors should match.
