Here's my zero-tolerance items:
1) Threatening other users
2) Going beyond trash talk to general personal abuse (it's a line, you can figure out when it's been crossed.)
3) Hijacking threads in tech docs with smack talk

Hate to say it, guys, but the among the existing older members that are left, I distinctly remember you all doing the same thing for awhile. As long as you keep the chatter out of the tech forums (i.e. people looking for advice) I don't care. Starting a post with the title "who has the fastest Spree" is just looking for smack talk, anyway. Why not just fire up the AIM and flame each other there?

If you want to kill smack talk, don't respond to it. Many of the older members are joining in on this; if you don't want to see post strings like this then ignore them.

As far as whether Killingspree and Wickedspree (or any 2 users) are the same person, I hope not. That would just be lame. But it wouldn't surprize me that two ppl from the same area would post here. *, the Frasher posse got large enough to get their own section.

As far as banning users and/or deleting posts, neither really works. Deleting posts really * off users and banning ppl doesn't work very well, since there are always other ways on to the board (it is a free signup, after all.)

well i am glad that we got that settled i have been a member for all most a year and what has been going on is just not right to our other users. this has to be my favorite web site of all time
