Mine is really nice but not show condition yet. I wish i had about $1,000 to put into a spree. God only knows what new things i would do to it.

spree
I bought a startor motor, almost brand new original seat, taillight assembly, kickstart assembly, ignition switch and seat lock, and more. I have about $350 bucks into the scooter and that includes the $150 i bought it for. I guess that aint bad cause them sprees are well worth it.

I bought mine in 1993 at a flea market for 20 bucks with 3,000 miles on it and a cracked piston. I'm sure I put well over $1,000 in it over the years in misc. parts to keep it running. Mine has never been in that good of shape cosmetically but I always tried to keep it in top shape mechanically.
Comeing soon: Possibly the fastest Spree in the world...
i spent an easy $400 on one of my sprees (the 84) :
- 1 engine rebuild(need another one)
-2 batteries
- 2 paint jobs
-2 new blinkers
-new tires plus tupes
- speedo cable
-lots of spark plugs
-K&N filter
-lot of jets
-got the head shaved down
-lots of wire (rewired it all)
-neon lights
I kno im forgetting other stuff but thats all i could think of now....its cosmeticly and mechanicly in great shape
