Oh man. I'm with Videonut on this, sell a dog or something, just rake the cash to do it. That AF18E motor is worth 3-4 times that. It may be difficult to restore. Parts don't come easy on the Dio.

I've got its twin, in process of repainting. Hard to find them with decent paint. But it is without a doubt my strongest bike, even stronger than my 2001 SR with 80cc bbk. I don't know how that can be, but it is. I guess porting and carburation might make that much difference.

Yeah. They were a few of those getting around back in the day. (10-15 years ago.) My mate had one.... then a few years later i picked one up, fixed it up a bit (cosmetically) and sold it. Will post pick if i can find one.

It's killing me not to be able to go grab it! i was supposed to do an extra gig saturday afternoon for $100 cash and it fell through at the last minuite. That would have bought that dio. I even have the rack on the back of the car that my spree rides on so bringing it home would be cake. bummer. it is still up i think so it apears no one round here knows what one of those is worth on the web in parts. it just has to stick around for a while and I'm golden. I might call to see if it has papers, and get the vin so I do a check with the DMV and see the status of it. It was up about a month ago for $125
