That's a give away price. I just sold one that wasn't a hard tail for $450 a couple months ago. no wiring on it even. Jump on it. Enjoy it or Sell for profit.

Very Desirable Uselessness

Greetings:

How hard is it to ...
Dude! Swap in a DIO!!?
:P
The ZA50s fall into my category of Very Desirable Uselessness. Too small for cross-country touring, not 'nuff suspension for motocross, not enough power for the Quarter Mile. But I want one anyway. :) Hope you score B^3.

I'd try to get him down a bit, hardtail parts are a bit expensive. If it has the original carb, it might be a good price. I paid $50 for mine.

Here's mine I had to sell to buy a car.

It's a 1971 Schwinn Twinn. I ended up selling for $350. Not enough room. They are HEAVY. I think this one weighed like 65 pounds. I completely tore it down, cleaned everything and had it powdercoated orange. The wife would not ride with me, so I rode it myself, let me tell you, that was a treat for the legs...

Soo i ended up getting it. Its missing the headlight, taillight, airbox, and some wiring. Its not starting but the seller said it ran when parked. I downloaded the service manual already and printed it out at work. I put some gas in it And it has a leak at the petcock. Im at a wedding now but ill take some pics when i get home. Im dying to tear into it and get started.

I have some bolts and nuts and such from my build, some are original "8" bolts that just need to be cleaned. I also have a exhaust heat shield repop, never used. I'll go through them tomorrow if you'd like, you can have them for shipping.
