Haha, just made a thread about a cup holder. I'm in the same boat. I need a good cup holder. I've thought about making one out of wood and just placing it in my milk crate.

Make sure you wear a cup while... your spree carries one.

i just meant enough to bump the liquid inside enough to pop the lid off...however, it would work great for one of those aluminum thermoses they have now(the thin ones ppl at gym's have for their water)

3-4 times a week for me, at least - and that's the problem. I need an Evil Kenievel certified coffee holder.

I've been wanting to come up with a cheap solution so I can mount a cup or can on my spree when I am driving. My wife also loves starbucks and it is only a mile from the house so would like to start using the spree if I could get the coffee back home without spilling.

Nice. I was thinking of rigging up the same sort of system in order to mount a bicycle handelbar bag since I don't have a glove box.

...and not to get too far off topic here, but what are those tires you've got there? They look chunky.

Greetings:

Gimbal/Swivel mounting prevents spills. Google Motorcycle Drink Holder for lots of examples like THIS.

Talk about unnecessary complication, and expense! Saw some for around $20. Ask any Gold Wing owner who actually rides long distance.

ok, someone find a cheap off the shelf that works good and post it up. I'm ready to get something mounted on mine. Coffee runs for the wife and summer slurpee runs for me :thumbwink:

Reminds me of a story of the wife on her Ruckus. Got a drink put it up front behind the headlight frame, hit a bump and she was wearing the drink. I laughed my * off.

Most marine cup holders are gimbaled and fairly cheap and some are set up so you can remove the cup when it is not needed.

The first 3 here are examples and none of these will denut you if you have an OOPS! moment.
