The Spree Specials always incite the unknowing into thinking they are a collectors item worth way more than they actually are.

I doesn't hurt when people make bogus additions to Wikipedia like this (check it yourself) "I read it on the internet, it must be true!"The Spree Specials always incite the unknowing into thinking they are a collectors item worth way more than they actually are.
"*The Shasta White/Lollipop Green color combination was only available on the NQ50D Spree Special in Europe and Germany and is very valuable and collectable, reaching prices upwards of $10,000."

Re: Can you believe this!!!!???
That is the biggest problem with Wikipedia, the unknowing, posting incorrect info and rumor as fact. To correct errors like this on Wikipedia is real hard as the system in place is difficult to use.Atis wrote:I doesn't hurt when people make bogus additions to Wikipedia like this (check it yourself) "I read it on the internet, it must be true!"The Spree Specials always incite the unknowing into thinking they are a collectors item worth way more than they actually are.

Or sometimes it is the seller who goes on there and types misinformation to get a higher price for his/her item.Bear45-70 wrote:That is the biggest problem with Wikipedia, the unknowing, posting incorrect info and rumor as fact. Re: Can you believe this!!!!???
For me it is called a good tactic to get some money out of a delusional sucker trying to be "smarter" than the seller... fraud or not by your interpretation, is still "legal" and there is the potential that someone might bite the bait, and if not, then it is just a one minute loss of time wasted posting an ad at Craiglist.Bear45-70 wrote:It's called fraud to use false info when advertising.axo wrote:the guy who posted it on that ad is pretty smart
