I can tell he spends all his time on one at a time no way to get that much perfection in multiple projects at the same time.

So i actually follow the Sith Lord's "rule of two" from Star Wars. I always have two bikes. one is the master that is for riding. the other is the apprentice which is for working on. Right now i have a Triumph Street Triple 675 all blacked out that is for riding. Once i am done with this NS50 i will sell the Triumph, ride the NS50 and find another bike to start working on. I work on a lot of old Hondas and scooters. check out my instagram if you want http://www.instagram.com/joshy_rhodes. thanks for the compliments guys i really do put a lot of time into these things. late nights in the garage are my favorite thing

Here is sort of a completed image of the entire engine set up with tubing, cables, new hardware and carb all in place. I really just need to finalize the wiring, add liquids and see how close my jetting is. i think Im running a 35 and a 90 on the jets so i hope that is somewhat close.

awesome, thanks for the link to the plugs

That radiator though! Make a nice little grate to cover it up, a black painted screen (such as a gutter one) from a hardware store wont restrict airflow, will be clean and crisp to follow the rest of the bike and it'll add protection to the radiator fins

i'm sure you've got a shop manual, but let me know if you need the original wiring scheme. i'd be happy to scan it for you (or anyone).

i'm psyched to see your build finishing! i just picked up a 1990 honda vtr250 (cosmetically rough, mechanically great) and so now i can finally tear apart my ns50 for a rebuild. plan is to the ride the vtr while the ns is apart, then ride the ns so i can rebuild the vtr

i would actually really appreciate that. i do not have a manual for this thing so im kind of going off trial and error for the wiring. getting close though

Trying to track down a spare bottom end, anyone have one laying around? (in any condition)

AC08 would be preferred.

Let me make some inquiries. One I know of is in Cal in the hands of a friend.
Edit: first call = strike out...making another.
Edit: Posted a Wanted ad on Shifty 50 page on facebook.
Edit: got a reply friend in Georgia. He has 1 AC08 condition unknown. = $190 shipped to you
Same guy has complete engine from MBX 80 = $300 shipped.
