Official NS50F thread

Post by z50r-ghost »

I recently bought Mookie's Honda NS 50. It isn't a scooter, but an all out 50cc motorcycle. (sorry for the non-scooter post)

Does anyone here own one, or have one collecting dust in their garage? I need a few parts. (no longer available from Honda)

Hey Baka,

I am going to do a "somewhat stock," but enhanced "racer" version. Excel rims, larger spokes, a TON of new Honda replacement parts, Kitaco 65cc kit, NSR parts....

I have a good idea of what it will turn out like, bt this will be one expensive build...

Damnit 'Jam's, thats one cool NS50 F!!

So you never ride it? WHY? It's so freaking clean!!! I have to ask; how much did you pay for it?

I plan on doing an NS50 F disk brake / wheel swap. Let me know if you ever want to "part" with any of your 50 F.

Later bro, thanks for sharing!!

I don't ever ride it because I don't really own it. I found that picture on the interweb.

I just wanted to make YOU jealous of me for a change.

Man, Jamz' -good one dude. I blame the "interweb." :bowrofl:

What are you talking about w' jealously?! - it' all on this side of the table -seriously, every build you turn out of your garage I am envious. You build some Peter Griffin "SWEEET" stuff, bro.

Re: NS 50F.... The Parts Are Beginning to Arrive!

Post by z50r-ghost »

Winter is a freaking depressing season, so why not search out and order some parts!

So I am slowly accumulating a rare parts "stash" for my beloved
NS 50.
Angie and I have been working on the NS every night; removing each part right down to the nuts and bolts and cleaning them, (brake cleaner is our best friend), sending batches of parts to the powdercoater, and staying up till 5 am researching "what parts are preferred by other NS 50 guys" and "what will it take to get this part, and then get it home!"

I will post up pics of progress soon... I am really proud of my NS. Now if I could only get rid of the snow... :peace:

Congrats on the rare find :woot:

My friend has a built Kitako NS50F. Fast but still on the spoke wheels and drum brakes :nervous:

My other friend offered me a trade for his JDM Spec NS50F with the mag rims and disk brake setup. It's here in Honolulu, HI and title/registered street legal in Honolulu. Same friend also has a uber rare Moriwaki NSR80 here on island too :2thumbs:
