Still working on my Gyro UP started on some body work / painted the Honda logo on the seat / made a plate for the rear .
It's just a weird bike still not sure on what it will look like when it's done .I'm thinking truck .
I also put up a post on how I did the logo on the seat .

This might be a stupid question .... Do you think the front wheel spokes and brakes would fit a GYRO ?? If it does would you sell me one of your front ends off those bikes ?
I just think it would be so cool to have spokes on a gyro .If it does fit I could send you my gyro wheel ????

Here's the low-down 66six,........the spread between fork tubes is slightly wider on Gyro....only about 3/8".....could be compensated with spacer choice......axle diameter is same.........Brake diameter appears to be same.......LUG on right tube for anchoring backing plate is bigger on Gyro, but could be ground down to work.......Overall heighth of 14" wheel from Express will fit in Gyro fork, no problem........brake cable looks like same set-up.......Speedo cable is a "probably works"......I've not pulled either out to compare, but outside appears similar and cable from Express will surely work Gyro speedo.....NOT suggested to swap forks as would cause loss of all stock components mounted on top tree......Express has NO tree on top even though the dimensions of the head measure very similar and might swap........The blue '80 is too good to part-out, and the red '81 runs and is complete even though tank is not shown in pix.......I will check with sources here and believe there is an Express parts bike accumulating dust in local club shop..................... :coolcruise: ...... :coolcruise: ........ :coolcruise:.................... :coolcruise: ............this might work with very little alteration.... :imo: ......................... :urban: The club rides every Monday night so I will post later and let you know............. :hi: .....thedeadpeds.net/

Good news/Bad news............No Express in the shop........Two other possibles at the shop....i.e.--Suzuki FA50 and a Yamaha QT50......both very express-like AND being sold this weekend at Silent Auction as part of the rally this weekend...........I'll be turning in some lowball bids and hoping to snag these for a flip........... :urban:
