That red lens with the "R" encircled by an "O" was a street-find.
In an attempt to trim the Gyro weight on every corner,
I drilled it and replaced the bulky OEM lens.
At first, it was "Ogre Racing".
Then, I assumed the name "OH-ARRR" racing.
Having returned Trooper back into street trim,
I have also put the stock lens back on.
The O-R lens hangs lazily on the garage wall.
After the above pic, i took off the fender, muffler trim, hubcaps, etc, etc...
but I left the horn on for passing ;)...and the rack was retained for lifting. .... :urban:

Thanks R1Titan duder. Rad rules the pad.

The 1985 Gyro S scheme is my personal favorite.
It has an essence of class you might find in a 1979 Trans Am.

Funny story actually, I was having a garage sale when these Vespa guys walked up and we started talking. Long story short, one of them had it stashed in their backyard. Came with a Florida title too. It's mainly to see if I can get my wife to ride with me as she isn't confident on two wheels. I'm hoping a third wheel will do the trick. If not, I'll contact you if I decide to sell it. :)

Yeah, the '84 is more suited to the wives and girlfriends.
It's the Gyro "S" that will get your testosterone flowing... :urban:
