This thread is pretty open - got a question, parts source or tip? New member? Post away, we can split long topics into their own threads as needed.

First two posts will be updated with general topics, links etc, that new members can use to find popular info. Some ideas below:

-- Service Manuals --
PDF versions for the 1984 NN50 Gyro and 1985/86 TG50 are available for download -> Honda Service Manuals

-- Build Threads --
<links will be added>

-- External links
<>

-- Parts --
There is some parts interchange between the NN50 and TG50's. We can fill in what fits/will not fit. Also, there is some limited parts interchange and adaptations from other Honda scooter models.

66six was one of the original models in the road fox ad back in 1982 when he had more hair. :wink:

We have a new member 'motormike'. He's got an '86 TG 50, and came up with alternatatives for those often missing or damaged parts. Hope he will read this and add some info.

Battery cover like that we could make easily enough, and the diamond plate over the louvered plastic floorboard is another good idea. Nice work motormike :thumbwink:

Can't take credit for the mods, previous owner did those. Not too well either on the battery cover/backrest. Just a piece of 1/2 inch plywood that has split between the mount holes due to poor fit on mounting studs. Admit it does look better than nothing and could be done better with good planning. The diamond plate is pop-riveted, give the guy an "A" on that one. It was my intention to post the charging problem on the '86 Gyro HERE on the greneral thread for Gyro, I just goofed somewhere and it makes no difference, I guess. :jack:

Here's some pix of the '86 bought today.......clock shows 5440, seat in fine shape, usable Dunlop on the left will mate with usable Dunlop from bike #4 and I've got pair of "decent" OEM's :woot: ,......Yes, the battery cover is missing, Yes, the louver panel between the pegs is broken, only missing one turn lens, worst thing so far discovered is stuck carb slide :eyeroll: ......Scored big on slick bunch of stickers at the small-town Honda dealer.......the white Wing appears to be an identical "HONDA" for use on the frame rail..... :urban:
