few more questions

Post by Kerry »

I picked up an 88 Elite scoot, i never saw a gas gauge on the rear in back of the seat, is this an 88 only option?

I have a 92 Sr elite, the motor looks a bit different from the 88 yet are Af05's....is the 92 variated and whats the sr difference from the normal 92 models...thx!

I'm confused... do you mean the fuel sending unit located in the gas tank?

I have an 88 but I'm not sure what you are asking about.

That '88 is an Elite E (sb50). The fuel gage is standard on that model. That model was run from '88-90. It is closer to a spree than that SR that you have. The engine is a non-variated af05.

The SR is the un-restricted model in the sa50 line of scooters. The '92 is a variated af05 engine.

Thanks man, I never saw a scooter with a gas gauge on the back end. It is considerably smaller than my SR.

That is what I like about the E, it is so much easier to throw around compared to the SR.
