Honda Elite 1989 SA50 (canadian version)

I'm curious about your 'Canadian Version' SA50. To my knowledge, the SA50 was never sold in Canada but Honda did some crazy things back then so maybe a few SA50's slipped in. To my knowledge, Honda Canada sold the SE50 from '87-'91 and then switched to the SK50 (Dio) from '91-'01.

Are you sure this is an SA50? And are you sure it's originally a Canadian market scooter (and not an import?). I'm simply curious and always wanting to learn more. I'd be happy to be wrong. If you happen to know anything further (ie. differences between Canadian and American versions) I'm all ears. Are the gauges in Km/hr or MPH?
