I have a 1986 Honda Spree Special. It is a completely original "Special" model with two-toned Lollipop Green on a Shasta White body. I looked up "Honda Spree" on Wikipedia and was given a lot of information on these scooters. Below is a quote from the Wikipedia website:

"*The Shasta White/Lollipop Green color combination was only available on the NQ50D Spree Special in Europe and Germany and is very valuable and collectable, reaching prices upwards of $10,000."

I don't know if this information on the value of the "Special" models from Wikipedia is correct. Maybe someone on hondaspree.net can help me.

Did you list this on craigslist?

They are more rare than black/white/red for sure but not $10000 rare.

There's been a few threads on the NQ50D. Here's a link with production numbers I dug up. By the numbers, it would not seem to be a $10,000 scooter in the 48 states US. There are more rare Honda scooters no where close to that in price.

Edit: Add - Nice find - I like the look of the NQ50D, even if much of it is just a sticker trim package.

I still don't understand why some idiot would put that on Wiki.....other than trying to bring up the value on the Specials

Really they aren't worth any more than a good condition regular spree, about $300-$400.
