sef black pipe
I want everyones opinion on this set up and if anyone is running it and or whats the best combo for my motor. I wanna run the malossi crank, mhr bore, sef black and keihin 28mm... And whats gears u folks recommend. Thanks.
Re: sef black pipe
I will be running the SEF Black too and wondered how it would perform with the Corsa or MHR.
Does the SEF Black let the rpms get high enough to use the Corsa or MHR?? Or should i stick with the Contessa?

Re: sef black pipe
8to1 or 7.58to1 at the most if your under 150lbs. any smaller on the gears and your just straining the motor. the sef black does rev up enough for the corsa plus its much quieter than the pg long so thats a plus.killing spree wrote:I want everyones opinion on this set up and if anyone is running it and or whats the best combo for my motor. Re: sef black pipe
been running that setup for 10 yrs only with a 44.7 crank and polini corsa, 7 to1 gears keeps the temp cool so your bore will last twice as long and i just added a koso stage-6 clutch = its sick and if you can find a ddx airbox its old school perfection BTW can the bear give you this type of info.
some people dream of speed, i own your dreams!
Re: sef black pipe
So in reality you have NOT been running that set up or anything close to it. Thus making your input once again useless and irrelevant. No, I can't give him useless and stupid info, that is your world.maddog wrote:been running that setup for 10 yrs only with a 44.7 crank and polini corsa, 7 to1 gears keeps the temp cool so your bore will last twice as long and i just added a koso stage-6 clutch = its sick and if you can find a ddx airbox its old school perfection BTW can the bear give you this type of info.

YOUR WORLD IS BEING STUPID AND WORTHLESS, JUST LOOK AT WHAT YOU OWN U-R AFRAID OF SPEED

Re: sef black pipe
Here is a good example of why never to listen to maddog and his BS. There is no 44.7mm crank for a dio and no koso stage 6 clutch. Koso and stage 6 is 2 different companies and koso doesn't have stage 1 thru 6 clutches.maddog wrote:been running that setup for 10 yrs only with a 44.7 crank and polini corsa, 7 to1 gears keeps the temp cool so your bore will last twice as long and i just added a koso stage-6 clutch = its sick and if you can find a ddx airbox its old school perfection BTW can the bear give you this type of info.

Greetings:
Everything I've read suggests that the quiet but elusive SEF Black would be an ideal exhaust for Flash 3.26. It is casually mentioned several times a month, as if there were SEF stores in every town. I've only seen one used one for sale on the Forum, and sources for new ones - if they even exist - appear to require the sale of a Kidney to procure. Where tha heck does one get one of these for anything like an affordable price?

At this time and place for a SEF Black you have to be in the right place at the right time.....Hawaii forums and maybe a lucky evol type of guy. New... seems unheard of, and good condition used are rare.....I will still keep my eyes peeled for you

Greetings:
I seek more feedback on the SEF's sound levels. My PG Short is a little quieter than my Long was, but along with the Corsa's need to spend most of its time screaming along at 10K, it's still a bit too uncivilized for Polite Company. How loud is the SEF?
