Spree/Razz/Jog Value?

Hey guys I started a post a while back about picking up a pair of spree's. The deal fell through as the seller is unable to get the title for one of them. I'm now considering a few different scoots and trying to find out what a good price would be. I'm located in WI and looking for a light weight fun ride around campus.

What would be a fair price for a
1986 Yamaha Jog - 3400 miles and needs a new battery, runs good (asking price is 650)
1995 Yamaha Razz - 800 miles runs great ripped seat (asking price is 500)
1985 Honda Spree - 840 miles does not run, was running at the end of last summer, good condition (was 625 for 2, so I would think they are asking 350 or 400 for the one)

Just reading around I think the jog sounds like the most fun at top speed of ~45 mph but its also listed as the most expensive. I know this is a honda forum but what would you choose and why? :coolcruise:

Jog and spree are priced high. Even if you could talk the price down on the Jog, I would not get it only because I am not a fan of the duckbill plastic nose.

IMO they are all priced kind of high (if they come close to Hawaii prices then it's high. lol).
As veedub mentioned the newer Jogs are preferred, they have a stronger stock engine than the older ones.

If you could talk down the price of the Razz, you could get it, but very limited on upgrades and it's slow stock.
It'll get you from point A to point B but you'll need to enjoy the scenery because it'll be pretty slow. Not too bad if you're going to mostly ride on campus and some light city driving on roads that have only 25mph speed limits.

Spree would be nice but unless you can find out the condition it was in before it stopped running and what needs to be done to get it back running, you'll be taking a gamble. If you're mechanically inclined and already know how to fix small engines then go ahead and barter with the seller and get the best price, If not it'd be best to get a running moped/scooter.

If I really needed to choose from your list. I'd choose the Jog. I'd barter the heck with the owner to try to get it down to about 500. Why? because the engine is stronger than the Razz. (I installed one of these motors in one of my Razz). They do a strong 40+ when it's running well. Razz only gets to 35+ (if that). I'm just speaking of stock engines.
